Catch-All Bag and Playmat

Lillie - “I want to get in it Daddy”

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best. Like many parents, the clever folk at Spottiswoode Trading have obviously decided that they’ve had enough of the daily “clean up and tidy away” fest that comes with having toddlers around the place. At around 6pm on any given day, our living room (to the untrained eye) looks like the aftermath of a particularly angry burglary.

Admittedly the ingenious Catch-All Bag won’t help prevent the random toddler factor (yesterday mornings breakfast hidden under a cushion, remote controls in the fireplace, mums best boots filled up with building blocks etc), but what it does do is shave precious minutes off the end of day tidy-up and provide the ability to remove any remnants of your little darlings in one fell swoop!

Simply open the bag out and it transforms into a one metre diameter circular playmat. Then when playtime is over, make like Mary Poppins and pile up all the toys in the middle of the mat before pulling the cord together (with a triumphant flourish if you like) to instantly bag an impressive amount of stuff … it’s just like shoving everything under your bed, but it looks nice and sits neatly and unassuming in the corner of the room … unaware of it’s simple but powerful beauty.

For additional amusement, try using it to tidy up your toddlers as well as per the above photo (no toddlers were harmed during this photo shoot). We’re just waiting for the 10 metre diameter version now so that we can scoop up an entire room .. perfect for moving house.
