I for one have hideous memories of a mud coloured soap that my mum used to rub vigorously into my scalp to get rid of the blighters and not so many years ago spent a good few weeks meticulously combing mummy’s hair after she had a close encounter with a nit-laden niece, so this sweet smelling and natural alternative is a welcome improvement to the more traditional remedies.

A word of warning however, this isn’t a tear free formula and is perhaps best avoided on very young toddlers who have a habit of getting a face full of shampoo at bath time!
